CORPERATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.

CSR approach in SALT is multi-faceted. The main focus is not inclined towards economy only, but also on reinforcing community  welfare by aligning activities in ethical and philanthropic   terms.    While the profit generation   affects   obviously   the corporate bottom line the company management wholeheartedly   approves the cost of quality labor by remunerating employees adequately.  Once the   business growth is felt SALT HR policy allows employment generation for    communities and stakeholders.  Compliance to safety standards  is not sighted  by the company as something   limited to legal requirements  rather it   is compliant  with     ethical  standards  of safeguarding the employees of  any  potential  accidents  by providing induction and  orientation on safety  precautions  with the help of a proactive management .  Awareness programs on Health and Safety Environment keep the stakeholders informed about the consequences of not adhering to safety codes in work place.  Instances of such measures include in-house safety orientation campaigns organized by the management from time to time.
Ethically speaking SALT management arranges special training courses on HSE through external third party affiliate institute for employees who deserve.  In a philanthropic sense continuous development of skills through    such institutes and colleges are approved.

Further SALT evaluates profits  from a TBL  ( Triple Bottom Line ) perspective  by addressing     social  and  environmental   costs  for  financial  reconciliation
